CEF LEVEL C1
NORRIS ROY
Taking what good teachers do in the classroom as the basis of its approach, Straightforward is an integrated skills series with a transparent structure, making it an easy-to-use course for students and teachers alike.
Read on to find out all you need to know about this great course, take a tour of the new CD-ROM, and discover how to order your Straightforward materials.
The package for each level consists of a Student's Book with/without CD ROM, Workbook with/without Key, Teacher's Book and Resource Pack, a Class CD and a Portfolio.
The Straightforward Student's Book has been designed to provide motivating content in an easy-to-use format. All lessons include a balance of language and skills work, and the different sections on the page are clearly labelled.
Covering twelve topics per level, the units in the Student's Book contain skills work, contextualised grammar activities, vocabulary development exercises and functional language lessons. At the end of each unit, there is a language reference which contains grammar notes and a word list which shows word frequency.
The Student's Books also now come with the new multimedia CD-ROM (with/without versions available).
The Straightforward CD-ROMs include interactive activities that practise grammar, vocabulary, functional language, reading and listening. Activity types include gap fills, multiple choice and games.
Designed for self-study, the CD-ROM features extra practice based on materials from the Student's Book, as well as a grammar reference and tests from each unit.
